Here’s a breakdown of the key measures that will impact working professionals:

  • SkillsFuture Jobseeker Support Scheme:

    • Workers who have lost their jobs will receive financial support of up to $6,000 over six months while they undergo training or search for new roles.

    • Localised job matching services will be expanded to all Community Development Councils (CDCs), helping professionals find opportunities closer to home.

May 2025

  • $500 CDC Vouchers:

    • Every household will receive the first tranche of $500 in CDC vouchers, which can be used at supermarkets, hawkers, and merchants. This helps ease daily expenses amid rising costs.

June 2025

  • SG60 ActiveSG Credit Top-Up:

    • ActiveSG members will receive $100 in credits to use at sports facilities, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

July 2025

  • $600 SG60 Vouchers:

    • All Singaporeans aged 21 and above will receive S$600 in SG60 vouchers200 for those aged 60 and above. These vouchers can be used for daily expenses, offering further financial support.

  • MediSave Top-Ups:

    • Singaporeans aged 65 and above will receive $500 in MediSave top-ups, helping to offset healthcare costs.

September 2025

  • SG Culture Pass:

    • All Singaporeans aged 18 and above will receive $100 in credits to attend arts and cultural performances, museum exhibitions, and heritage experiences.

  • Large Family LifeSG Credits:

    • Families with three or more children will receive $1,000 in LifeSG credits annually for each third and subsequent child aged 1 to 6.

October 2025

  • U-Save Rebates:

    • Eligible HDB households will receive S$110 to S$190 in U-Save rebates, helping to offset utilities expenses.

December 2025

  • Cash Payouts (Assurance Package):

    • Lower- and middle-income Singaporeans will receive S$100 t600 in cash payouts as part of the GST Voucher scheme.

January 2026

  • $300 CDC Vouchers:

    • Every household will receive the second tranche of S$300 in CDC vouchers, completing the total S$800 disbursement.

Early 2026

  • $300 Monthly Training Allowance for Part-Time Courses:

    • Mid-career professionals aged 40 and above can access a $300 monthly training allowance for selected part-time courses, helping to offset expenses like transport and course materials.

    • Lower-wage workers aged 30 and above will also benefit from this allowance under the enhanced Workfare Skills Support (WSS) scheme.

Ongoing Support Throughout 2025 and Beyond

  • Senior Employment Credit (SEC):

    • Employers hiring seniors aged 60 and above will continue to receive wage offsets until end-2026, encouraging companies to retain or hire older workers.

  • Uplifting Employment Credit (UEC):

    • Employers hiring ex-offenders will receive wage offsets of up to 20% until end-2028, supporting reintegration into the workforce.

  • Enterprise Compute Initiative:

    • Up to $150 million will be set aside to help businesses harness AI effectively, creating more opportunities for professionals in tech-driven industries.

  • Climate Vouchers:

    • All households, including those in private properties, will receive $400 in climate vouchers to purchase energy- and water-efficient products.
