  • SkillsFuture Level-Up Programme:

    • Mid-career professionals aged 40 and above can now access a $300 monthly training allowance for selected part-time courses, in addition to the existing allowance for full-time courses. This helps offset expenses like transport and course materials.

    • The allowance is capped at 24 months for both full-time and part-time training, ensuring flexibility for those balancing work and study.

  • Workfare Skills Support (WSS) Enhancements:

    • Lower-wage workers aged 30 and above can now access a $300 monthly training allowance for part-time courses, providing more substantive reskilling opportunities.

2. Financial Relief for Working Professionals

Rising costs remain a concern for many professionals. Budget 2025 offers several forms of financial relief:

  • $800 CDC Vouchers:

    • Every household will receive S$800 in CDC vouchers, 500 disbursed in May 2025, and S$300 in January 2026. These can be used at supermarkets, hawkers, and merchants, helping to ease daily expenses.

  • Personal Income Tax Rebate:

    • A 60% personal income tax rebate for the Year of Assessment 2025, capped at $200, will provide relief for middle-income professionals.

  • SG60 Vouchers:

    • All Singaporeans aged 21 and above will receive S$600 in SG60 vouchers in July 2025200 for those aged 60 and above. These vouchers can be used for daily expenses, offering further financial support.

  • Senior Employment Credit (SEC):

  • Uplifting Employment Credit (UEC):

    • Employers hiring ex-offenders will continue to receive wage offsets of up to 20% until end-2028, supporting reintegration into the workforce.

  • Enterprise Compute Initiative:
